To be sustainable is " to meet the needs of the present, without compromising the ability for the future generations to also meet there needs" The month of August, in Pure & Bare will be all about sustainable and environmentally responsible. So we will be talking about it thru our letters, media, and blog.
What a thrill! This month we want to bring you a lot of information about everything that is environmental responsibility, sustainability, and everything that is eco-friendly design for your home. This month will be an adventure among the natural world, how to get these products, what they mean, and how you can help the planet from the design of your home.
let's get going!
A modern and sustainable house does not necessarily have to be recycled at all. reuse, retrieve, recycle, and repeat. When we talk about sustainability and sustainable products, we must go beyond everything we see and touch. Sustainability is the sum of all that and 20 other figures. that is, a product is sustainable when the product helps from the raw material. How? not to generate poverty, not to generate pollution, not to leave chemicals in the water, not to harm nature, not to be harmful while its use, not to generate more garbage once its useful life has ended. All these factors make a product sustainable and green certified.
We can find many products that make our life healthier, better, and high-tech. From our kitchens to the laundry there are appliances that help save not only the natural resource but also your money by lowering your bills. According to the united nations, the sustainable product should have 17 points, even thou we usually take care of the one that concerns the building industry; there are more that are far more important like action climate and generating equal opportunity jobs. I think we all have the responsibility of protecting our communities, our education, and care about zero hunger; as well as we do our own homes. don't you think?
Stay tuned for all the upcoming posts and blogs, where we go deep into the sustainable products and design advice and tips!
